We have just come to the end of the season for Banshee. She is only 8 months old and to our amazement had come into season 4 weeks ago. It has been an absolute nightmare, trying to keep Odin and Banshee separated during this time. I am so glad things are back to normal now and they can finally play together again.

We had no idea that a young dog of only 8 months could come into season and we were quite unprepared for this to happen. I had to read up on things and even requested advice from our vet. Keeping them both separate for 4 weeks was extremely difficult, especially because we only have a small house and very little space.

I dare say we have learnt a valuable lesson over the past month. It's just nice to be able to return to normality and I can finally take Banshee for walks again.

In about 6 months time we will have it all to come again, but at least we'll know what to expect and plan for it.....
